A few words about Michael Poliza, eBikes and our great team
It started nine years ago...
Michael Poliza – our company founder – may be known to you through his elaborate nature and adventure trips, through his photography and the illustrated books with which he was able to make a name for himself all over the world. His pictures have been published in all well-known magazines and daily newspapers, nationally and internationally.
Through his travels he had the opportunity to get to know this planet and its beauty. He was allowed to explore more than 185 countries on all seven continents and take millions of pictures.
Michael also wanted to pursue his passion for travelling, nature and discovering unknown places in his hometown.
So Michael bought his first eBike in 2013. A delite from Riese and Müller. Love at first sight.
When Corona took on threatening proportions all over the world in March 2020 and the lockdown came, the international travel business collapsed. During the lockdown in spring, Michael was out and about on the eBike every day. Sometimes alone, but mostly he has invited a friend or relative to come along on his tours.
For 75 days he was constantly on the road between 60-80 km to explore every bush, tree and path in and around Hamburg. The further away from busy roads, the better.
Strongly encouraged by the positive feedback, he decided to once again put his passion at the center of his entrepreneurial activities. This is how MP eBike Business GmbH was formed in July 2020 with the divisions MICHAEL POLIZA eBIKES & MORE, geared towards advice and eBike sales , and MICHAEL POLIZA eBIKE ADVENTURES, which specializes in eBike tours and eBike rental .
We were able to learn a lot from my experience when buying the first eBike in 2013 when the company was founded in summer 2020 and so we have made it our mission to offer you the best possible service.

Michael Poliza's team puts a lot of effort into the routes and the selection of the eBikes for the tours. Inspired by his countless safaris in Africa, Michael Poliza has also discovered beautiful places here in the north and creates a lot of safari atmosphere at the picnics, especially on the private tours. He always manages to create special moments in nature.
