Why should I explore Hamburg by eBike?
There is nothing better than exploring your surroundings in the fresh air through your own movement. With our eBikes you have the opportunity to spend as much time as you want with it. The movements on the eBike are easy on the joints and individually adjustable in difficulty. This means that you can even determine your training session yourself.
An exploration tour with the eBike, instead of by bicycle, gives you the opportunity to experience much longer distances and thus many more exciting things. It also gives access to all the wonderful hiking and biking trails that lead through the most beautiful places, crossing nature reserves, offering uninterrupted views of the river - where cars often can't go. And it is fun!
Who is an eBike tour suitable for?
An eBike tour is also suitable for anyone who can ride a bike. You don't need any special prior knowledge to ride an eBike.
Do I need my own eBike for the tour?
No. We will provide you with a suitable eBike from Riese&Müller for the tour.
Is there an instruction for the eBikes?
Yes. Before each tour, we explain the functions of the eBikes to you and give you detailed instructions.
Do I have to be very fit for an eBike tour?
No. Thanks to the Bosch motor, you can easily cover a 40-70 km tour with little effort.
Can my child also ride an eBike?
Your child is welcome to ride on the eBike tours if they are big enough and able to ride our eBikes! If your child is under the age of 18, they may only take part in the tour if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
On some tours we offer a special children's eBike. This eBike is suitable for 6 to 8 year olds with a height of approx. 130-140 cm. If you are unsure, you are welcome to come by and try it out by appointment. We also offer other solutions for the very little ones, but please do not hesitate to contact us.
Is there a tour guide for the eBike tours?
Basically yes. Our guides ensure that you have an unforgettable time.
We will soon be presenting new products and offers that you can also ride without a guide, but you'll have to be patient for that.
Where do the tours start and end?
Our tours always start and end in our shop in Hafencity. In individual cases and by arrangement there are also other starting points. The exact meeting point is stated in your confirmation letter.
On private tours with a support vehicle, we can even pick you up from home if you want and drive you back to your front door - very comfortably!
When do I have to be there?
Please be at the meeting point about 15 minutes before the start of the tour so that we can depart on time.
How long are the tours?
Our guided eBike tours last between 2 and 8 hours. More information on the individual tours.
Do I need to bring something to eat or drink with me?
Depending on the tour and time of day, we provide light meals with drinks and small snacks. For longer day tours, breakfast or lunch is sometimes included in the tour price. Details can be found on the individual tours. Anything is possible with private tours. Up to the big barbecue picnic with vegetarian options.
What should I wear?
We recommend sporty clothing in which you can move freely for several hours, as well as sturdy shoes. In addition, a waterproof jacket makes sense, as the weather in Hamburg can surprise with small showers even in the summer months.
Do I have to wear a bike helmet?
According to the StVO, wearing a bicycle helmet is not compulsory, but we recommend that you wear a bicycle helmet! Your safety is important to us! If you do not have your own helmet, we will provide you with a helmet on all our tours free of charge upon request. You can reserve it at the same time as you book online.
How much does an eBike tour cost?
It all depends on which offer you choose. For example, "Hamburg Highlights", our shortest tour, costs €59.00.
Can I buy vouchers from you?
Yes, you can purchase vouchers from us. There is a voucher option when booking. Alternatively, you can buy a voucher that can be redeemed individually. But you can also call us at 040-271 668 55 or send an email to ebiketouren@michaelpoliza.de and we will create a voucher for you with your desired value.
How many participants does a tour have?
The guided tours, without a support vehicle, have a maximum group size of 8 people. We often have a minimum of 5 participants. On tours with a support vehicle, a maximum of 4 participants can currently ride on each tour.
Can I also book a private tour for me and my group?

Are company events also offered?

What happens when it rains?
In principle, a booking with us is binding. However, it is important to us that you are happy and satisfied, so you have the option of canceling the reservation online or by telephone free of charge up to three days before the tour. Normally, the weather forecast three days in advance is reliable enough. In the event of short rain showers, we would make appropriate stops. If, contrary to expectations, the weather forecast is completely wrong and it is raining cats and dogs, we will look for an alternative date for your tour together!
How long can I rent an eBike?
You can rent our eBikes from 2 hours to several weeks. You can find the prices during the booking process.
Collection and return must take place in Hafencity within normal opening hours.
Can I extend my loan spontaneously?
You are welcome to spontaneously extend your loan as long as we have the appropriate availability. To do this, please call us on 040-271 66855 before the return time is reached.
Where can I pick up my rented eBike?
All rental bikes are picked up and returned in our shop in Hafencity.
Can I also buy RIESE & MÜLLER eBikes from you?
Yes, at our sister company Michael Poliza eBikes & more You can buy premium eBikes from RIESE & MÜLLER in our showroom in Hafencity. Our competent specialist staff will work with you to configure an eBike according to your wishes and requirements in everyday life and in your free time. After successful configuration and ordering, the eBike is manufactured by RIESE & MÜLLER in Germany. Then you can pick up your new eBike from us after 2-6 weeks.
How much do RIESE & MÜLLER eBikes cost?
